Was the fix in yesterday at the Steeler/Charger game?
How in the world could NFL refs blow that call yesterday? I think the fix was in. Bookies in Vegas made out big time! There is no excuse to review it and still blow it! That whole crew needs to be suspended and investigated!

I definitely think it was fixed. It had no bearing on who won or lost the game, so the only thing that mattered was the spread. They reviewed it. They were going to call it how was it was suppose to be and then the next thing you know they're huddling and saying that the touchdown didn't count. How does that happen?

It was pretty obvious, in my opinion. I could tell in real time that nothing illegal happened. How could they not see that nothing illegal happened in the replay? Someone made a lot of money off of that game. Kinda sad since most of us love the NFL so much.

Rumor has it that the bookies made $64 million, instead of losing $32 million. All because of that one play that was reversed for no reason. If I had bet on that game, I would have smashed my television.

Even before that, the 13 to 1 penalties. Now granted 11 of the 13 I thought were legitamate;BUT the horrible pass interference call on Taylor that directly led to pointswas bogus, the reciever turned in 1st, then turned out into Taylor....not to mention the ball landed in back of endzone and contact was on the 5 no way catchable! And the rest of the calls, anyone notice how many came on 3rd down conversions or 2nd and shorts? If If Roth could buy the White Sox in the early 1900's when honor , morals, and character and "the game" meant something, you can't convince me that most pro sports today aren't fixed. Tim Donehey isn't the lone gunman in the grassy knoll.(I know, I'm not an English major)

Re: Was the fix in yesterday at the Steeler/Charger game?
Watching mike and mike and comments from Peter King yesterday and today. Why can't anyone in the media say they thought the fix was in. I don't care how incompetent one official is or the whole crew. They can't blow that call and say they made a mistake. I need more than that. Where's the suspensions and investigations of those involved? Goodell will hammer players for diuretics with suspensions but nothing about horrid or corrupt officiating. What a joke.

Before NBC's Sunday Night game, they definitely incinuated that the fix was in. Goodell did punish Hocchuli earlier in the year, but he isn't doing anything about this because it didn't effect the outcome of the game. I don't agree with it, but that's how commissioners roll.
