Secret vote?

Post by RidgeDad »

From the party that wants to eliminate the secret ballot for union membership, Joe Lieberman doesn't get the same respect from his colleagues.

Lieberman faces a secret vote by his colleagues Tuesday.
Let me make sure I understand this. It's ok for unions to be able to see who voted up or down, so that they can then backlash those that voted against the union (and thus ensure union victory every time), but it's not ok for Joe Lieberman to see which of his colleagues voted to kick him out of his committee chair.

Ah yes, this is normal stuff from the party that defined the word hypocrisy.

Go ahead and try to defend them now.

How it turned out is not the point. I thought you were smarter than that.

The point is that once again, Dems display their hypocrisy by supporting the unions in their fight to do away with secret ballots for the common person, but don't have the nads to do that themselves when it comes to one of their own.
