Monaca/Clairton
Monaca/Clairton
Has anyone heard about either team. I have heard conflicting things and want to get it straight. Thanks.

Clairton is where they filmed Deer Hunter.

Their backfield is Walken, Savage, and DeNiro. The line is anchored by Dzundza...

Clairton 12 Monaca 6
Neither team did much. partly because of the chilly weather and a little snow on the field.
Also, there was numerous fumbles committed by both teams.
Windber better bring their passing game because Clairton is one tough team to run on. The Bears' defense is only allowing about 2.5 points a game.
Erickson should be able to get 34 yards to get to 1,000, but it will be awfully tough.

Re: Monaca/Clairton
The Ramblers will really need to (open up) that Single-Wing ~T offense... They will have to show them formations in that offense, that haven't been used all year & should have been.. :o
There is a (ton) of interesting plays that can evolve from the Single-Wing~T offense... Please: USE THEM
{The Element of Surprise} will get you futher down the road... What worries me more is the suscepstible Defense of the Ramblers play... Athlectically, The Ramblers may be a tad short too...
I'm hoping for a good game & maybe {just~MAYBE} The Ramblers could make some History of sorts ?

Didn't the Cougars of North Star shock Clairton last year and almost pulled off the upset?
