I've gotta be honest. I forget about the Bedford County schools being in the D5. It'll be interesting to find out the current stats and impression B/C fans from down that way view their smst cnty competition.

Forbes Road isn't a B/C school but I think they are strongly overrated. The key to their offense by far is Jesse Newman. If you can lock him down, you can lock down a win. Really the B/C schools are kind of strong this year. I would say Tussey is underrated. Zimmy and Chamberlin have both proved they can light up the scoredboard, and Tussey Defense is always very good. Yea, they lost to Forbes Road but on an incredible shot. As of now I would say lock down Newman, watch out for Zimmy and the boys from Tussey.

Southern Fulton 40, Shanksville 39

Friday, at Warfordsburg

Non-league game

Zach Leasure dropped in a shot with 5.7 seconds left to lift Southern Fulton to a thrilling win over Shanksville ... The Vikings (5-2) took the lead with 17 seconds left, then SF (4-0) called a timeout to set up a play ... "It wasn't exactly what we drew up, but it was an option and Zach hit a tough, penetrating shot," Indian coach Kent Henderson said. "He got the ball and did what he needed to do." ... Shanksville got a last shot, but it came up short, thanks to good defense by Dylan Whiteside and Josh Hall, who got a piece of the ball ... Hendershot said, "This was a nice win against a good team. We didn't panic at the end. The first half might have been the best we played this year, although the third quarter was lousy." ... Whiteside led SF with 13 points and Hall had 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 blocks ... Silas Miller scored 10 for the Vikings.

Anyone got any info on how Shanksville performed in SoFu? The newspaper articles good, but wondering what the "eyes on the game" saw? Know what I'm hearing up here, but I wasn't there and I'd like to hear the other side.
