The Ravens vs. Titans game ladies and gents. The call that shocked the world. The play clock was obviously at 0, the refs didnt pull that yellow hanky out, and more than likely ruined the Titans chances of a Super Bowl appearance. Does the NFL need to do something about its officials in the offseason or what here? Whats gonna fix this problem? There has obviously been a lot of blown calls this season that have greatly affected the outcome of games. It may be part of the game, but the officials are to make the right call, and do it to the best of their ability. You cant tell me that not blowing the whistle at a clear and obvious 0 was the best of their ability.

I was out at the steelers game last night and in listening to the postgame show on the way home, tunch or craig had said they saw an NFL guy on the sidelines with a mic counting down the play clock once it hit 5 seconds. They said they had never seen that before, but as soon as the clock hit 0 several times last night the whistles blew instantly. Maybe this is a 24 hour rule the NFL had instituted. You may or may not hear about this at all this week, but that's what those guys were talking about last night after the game on the radio.

At least they took action right away I guess. Too bad that wasnt the case for the Titans. Not that I like the Titans or anything, but MOD EDIT give them a fair game.
