Fairness Doctrine on BC?
What's up Coach?
Are you Obama's Fairness doctrine czar on the internet?
What about our 1st amendment rights? I need to contact the ACLU and file a complaint with the FCC!

Haha wow.
My one question is were u even at this game? Do u even know wat happened up at UPJ?
Because there is no justification for wat those refs did in the overtimes of that game. Hands down. Enough said. Its the DISTRICT 5 CHAMPIONSHIP GAME.

No I wasn't at the game. But I played and coached when Ron was an official. I have to say he's been much better to me as a coach than when I was a player!

On a serious note. D5 should look at bringing in officials from another district. Tussey boys will gripe that an all Somerset County crew did their game and you (Berlin) will complain that an all Bedford/Fulton county crew had your game. This has been an argument for years not just this game. I like Ron as both a football and basketball official. As well as Jarvis, Saylor, and Zambinini.

Ron and watever other refs r out there that think like this just need to put their thoughts about people in their back pocket and ref the game. Refs from another county would b nice but if they could just learn get their head into wat is most important we would accomplish the same goal. Teams like tussey boys and berlin girls should not have to deal with these things during games after getting so close.

OK. Now both the Shade boys and Girls teams played against Beford County teams IN Bedford County and there was a total bedford county crew officating both those games (on seperate nights). I don't think there was one peep, one post on here from anyone from Shade. It is what is it guys and gals..get over it.
Re: Fairness Doctrine on BC?
Get your point, but I think you will find the crew who did the Shade boy's game played in Bedford County was a Fulton County crew.

These officials are supposed to be the best in their respective chapters. The test to become an official is 100 questions, You need to get 75 right to pass. Pass the test, become an official and you like every other official out there will only ever be 50% right as long as their is two diffrent teams on the court. If people in the stands can officiate better take the test.

Why do you have to come on here and cry about the officials. Why can't you talk about how great the game was and how hard both teams played. The officials DID NOT determine the outcome of the game. Both teams played their hearts out and it is a shame that either team had to lose but unfortunately that is the way it is. It was one of the best District 5 championship games I've ever witnessed and you have to cry about the officiating. Berlin missed 7 foul shots and you're crying about officiating. Try making your free throws next time.berlinbaseball4 wrote:Haha wow.

Here's the justification for what the refs did. The teams are to break their huddle on the first buzzer and be on the floor ready to play at the second buzzer. You need to have your team on the floor ready to play.
At the first buzzer the Tussey girls broke their huddle. The second buzzer sounded and the Tussey girls were on the floor ready to go. The official went to the Berlin huddle and told them it was time to play. After 5 seconds they were still in the huddle so the ball was put in play. How can you think it was unfair.
