Re: Bailey Suspended
Very interesting...We will see if Tussey follows through with any further action.
At least we know that Saxton reads bleachercoaches!!!!!!

A reference to BC in the Altoona Mirror. How about that for free advertisement?

Re: Bailey Suspended
Nice to see BC mentioned. I would like to know some more details. On what grounds did they suspend. As far as I heard there was no disciplinary action taken during or right after the game by the officials so I wonder what warranted the suspension? Testimony from opposing fans? A cell phone picture or video tape of the incident? I'd like to know what it was. Maybe this is the last we will see of Coach Bailey!

Re: Bailey Suspended
Just throwing out several possibilities:
1. Coach takes responsibility for actions
2. An official within a school district recognized need to act
3. The D-5 committee would take action if a school district doesn't
4. The PIAA will take action if the D5 committee and/or school district doesn't
I don't know if any of these apply. Just speculating.

The head man of district 5 piaa was at the game and was close enough to here what bailey said. Plus the latest count on letters sent to the tussey school board is 26. Bleacher coaches was not the leak to the altoona mirror but apparently it is taking the fall.

Re: Bailey Suspended
In addition, there were D5 representatives all over the place that evening. That plus the fact that there were multiple referees in the stands who were there as spectators, various H. S. coaches, as well the school administration.Freeballer21 wrote:The head man of district 5 piaa was at the game and was close enough to here what bailey said. Does Shade ever play at Tussey Mountain? I hope not.
Re: Bailey Suspended
This has nothing to do with Shade. I'm not from Shade and around me were fans from North Star, Berlin, Southern Fulton, Shanksville, Shade and even TM fans who were not happy with there own coach. Again Bailey is responsible for his own childish actions not Shade or anyone else.

Really? It has nothing to do with Shade? Who do you think wrote the letters? I will almost promise you that none of them were Tussey Mountain fans. I competed against Tussey for years and I can't see them telling on their coach. I could be wrong, though.
