LHAC Week 2

LHAC Week 2
After a good opening week of LHAC football we now go to week 2 of intersectional games in the league...
I pulled off a 5-1 week in picks. Heights really let me down and Somerset surprised me.
Bedford at Richland
The Bisons opened up with a big win in week 1 matching last year's total.... but don't expect more of the same. Ramieres and Rizzo will light up the board at Herlinger.
Rams 42 Bisons 12
Forest Hills at Bishop Carroll
No Mehall? No problem! Dudukovich led the charge for the Rangers in their statement win against Johnstown. Looks like BC's woeful season will continue.
Rangers 35 Huskies 0
Central Cambria at Westmont
CC has a lot of newer names but still managed to put up 27 in week 1. Westy is in lots and lots of trouble plain and simple.
Red Devils 31 Hilltoppers 13
Cambria Heights at Johnstown
Well all those believers that CH seemed to pick up over summer are currently feeling like idiots....me being one of them. I thought Johnstown would have played a little better in Sidman last week but they should take out alll of their frustration and pick up their milestone victory at Trojan Stadium.
Trojans 49 Highlanders 7
Bishop Guilfoyle at Somerset
Somerset really made a statement in week 1 and i don't saee why it wont continue. BG had lots of QB trouble and lots of trouble at stopping the run. Ehredt is a reallly really good player he just needs some help
Golden Eagles 34 Marauders 21
GAME OF THE WEEK
Penn Cambria at Bishop McCort
The Newton-Seidel showdown should be a memorable one. Newton took over against Westy while Seidel had a career game against BG. McCort should be able to run on anyone. And PC will be doing much of the same. It really comes down to what defense will make the plays and adjustments to the opponents running game. In the end McCort has too many weapons and is too expierenced for me to pick against them. Close game for about 3 quarters.

I said before the season that Dudukovich and Meier(who also had a great game against Johnstown) would be able to fill Mehall's shoes. Just a reminder that when I said this I got ridiculed to no end!! Good to see the boys proving me right! As for this weeks game, expect to see Glessner's coming out party. Bailey likes to keep it balanced when they don't play Johnstown
McCort will win easily because they have the best run defense in the LH. I've said it a million times.. if you want to beat McCort you have to exploit the secondary!

Bishop McCort over Penn Cambria in the game of the week
Richland is going to run and throw all over bedford
Forest Hills will win by 30-40 points in a no contest against B.C.
C.C. will roll over Westy
Heights's once positve looking season is gone with them starting 0-2 with another huge loss to j-town
Somerset over B.G. 35-7. Somerset is better than what people think they are going to open eyes this week with a convincing win. I know that they only played heights but they put up 40 points in the first half and for any team thats hard to do. So Somerset is going to surprise people and win this one easily.

Bedford at Richland
Bedford could make it close, but I think the Rams' passing game will prove too much for the Bison.
Richland, 34-21
Forest Hills at Bishop Carroll
Bailey and the boys of Sidman will run all over the Huskies.
Forest Hills, 38-17
Central Cambria at Westmont
Oh, Westy, Westy, Westy...it's over before it begins.
Central Cambria, 35-10
Cambria Heights at Johnstown
Raise the 600th win banner. Nuff said.
Johnstown, 42-7
Bishop Guilfoyle at Somerset
Maybe an upset? BG just came off an opening week drubbing, but I see them bouncing back in this one.
BG, 24-17
Penn Cambria at Bishop McCort
Unless Penn Cambria can throw, I'll take McCort big.
McCort, 49-14

Re: LHAC Week 2
Is it true that BC only has 22 kids on roster? Is enrollment down in general there?
