Turn it Blue

Post by Crimson09Crazy »

Pitt fans going to the game Saturday are encouraged to "turn it blue"

So we got the White out in PSU Sea of Red in Nebraska Gold Rush in Morgantown
and we're turning it blue at Pitt....isn't quite at catchy. But hopefully it will make the crowd a little better.

Hopefully the blue drowns out our yellow counterparts at Heinz Field Saturday. I'm not counting on it.

And Pitt's one loss away from being out of the rankings again. Your point?

Ah yes but we can claim to be because not only have we been there several times since 2005(finished 3rd in 2005 and 8th in 2008) but also because PSU is 9th in the NATION in wins and winning percentage since 2005. THAT'S why PSU fans talk about being a top 10 team. Because they are.

PSU's Top 10 assertion on a nationwide level is a FRAUD, just like the whole program there. Keep believing the propaganda and brainwashing.

I have proved in other threads that they are only the 4th best team in their conference. Read the numbers and weep. PSU has won 22% of their games against tOSU, Michigan, and Iowa since 2000. They're the 4th best team IN THEIR OWN WEAK CONFERENCE.

Look at these numbers over roughly the past decade...PSU is "slightly better", but it's LAUGHABLE that they think they're one of the elite programs in America...THEY'RE NOT EVEN SIGNIFICANTLY DIFFERENT THAN PITT.

These stats are clearly UNDERwhelming for a group of fans that claims their program to be FAR SUPERIOR to Pitt's program...

PSU's record 2000-present

regular season: 72-45
bowls: 4-2

overall: 76-47

Pitt's record 2000-present

regular season 70-47
bowls: 2-4

overall: 72-51

Head to Head: Pitt 1-0; PSU 0-1

WHERE is the dominance??? I know what you'll say, "How many times has Pitt been ranked in teh top 10 recently?" PLEASE SPARE ME the biased USA Today/AP OPINION Polls and stick to the numbers....But, even if you insist, the CURRENT POLL is hardly overwhelming, with PSU just 6 spots ahead of Pitt.

By the way, since you love polls so much, if Pitt is lucky enough to beat a solid USF team, and if PSU takes their customary beating from Mich, guess who will be ranked ahead of who?

The superiority and arrogance of Nitters is COMICAL. Keep ignoring the FACTS. Mmmmmmm, Kool Aid tastes good, doesn't IT?

In all seriousness...

Why does Pitt do this to themselves? Turn it YELLOW, not blue. Those yellow seats stick out on TV way worse than black or blue ones would. That makes Pitt's attendance look even worse than it normally would. Turn it yellow, not blue, folks.
