Choice 1: With only 7 yards and the endzone that needs defended, you push with the front 4 and keep everyone else in pass protection. LBs are naturally in place for anything easy, which is what the opposing team would need.
Choice 2: You line up all 11 defenders on the line of scrimmage and cross your fingers that they won't run a WR slant.

So easy even a caveman can do it.

If you truly believe the RPI is an accurate representation of which conference is the best I feel sorry for you. It must not keep track of things like one of the top teams in the big east lost to one of the worst in the ACC.

But conference RPI's are about conference TEAMS as a whole, not isolated wins and losses over the length of a season. Who knows, maybe most of the Big Ten teams play OOC games at home. Maybe that's one thing they consider. Losing on the road may be less harsh than beating a cupcake like E. Illinois at home.

It's part of the PSU brainwashing scheme...ANYTHING that spins PSU in a negative light (like Sagarin ratings, PSU's record over the last decade as compared to PItt's, crime stats of the players, anecdotal examples of Depth Chart Justice, etc.) is IMMEDIATELY discounted and refuted as inaccurate by Nits.

...Yet, rankings which are OPINION POLLS, the number of TV appearances, graduation rates inflated by "academic" programs invented to cater to the football players, and stadium attendance have everything to do with the success of a football program.
