And speaking of numbers...
The TV folks last night said Coach Z. from Aliquippa has over 260 wins.
Wonder how many total wins he would have if the Quips played in the LHAC?
Give credit to Aliquippa. One of the smallest Class A schools in the state, who CHOOSE to compete in class AA. And, in one of, if not the toughest, districts in PA.
They aren't a private school, who can juggle numbers.
Anyone from Bishop McCort listening?

Bussard= one of the nicest/ honorable guys, but one of the poorest coaches? The game last night was one of the most boring examples of a playoff game I've ever witnessed. How many times over the years has the CC coach made poor/ stupid calls that cost his team? And game plan? Play after play trying to run inside the FH tackles for 1,2 yards a crack. And, guess what? The field wasn't "WATERED DOWN". FH didn't show much. They didn't have to. Just out-execute and control the lines. Losing by 7-0, on their own 40 with 4th and 1, KB goes for it and gets stuffed. Predictable. Also typical- perennial late hits that cost CC valuable field position. Example: FH # 52 standing around the 20 after the flow of play was at the goal line as FH was scoring on a run, he gets blindsided/ cheap shot by CC # 58. 15 yard penalty tacked onto the kickoff, putting the kicking line of scrimmage for FH at the CC 45. I really expected something like a 27-14 FH win, but this was just sad for CC. IMHO
It ain't over until it's over.

I agree. Not a lot of razzle dazzle last night.
I was trying to recall... CC might have had maybe 1-3 plays over 10 yards all night?
They really didn't give Bussard (QB) the chance to make it a game.
I liked the offense that CC was trying to use (the Georgia Tech) but surely after the half you should have realized it wasn't working.
Bailey ran the pitch outside all night...CC just tried to pound the middle.
I was surprised...I thought CC would stack the box and force FH to throw but the running game worked for FH. To prevent and overload Bailey lined up both WRs on one side. Sometimes though CC didn't cover both...I would have gave Glessner the check and let him throw it if he saw that.
OVERALL- I thought Bailey managed the game very well. He really gave nothing to the Richland scouts there.
I'm hoping to see Richland's wildcat next week.
I felt kind of bad for the CC kids...Their offensive and defensive coordinators called a bad game. Bussard should have taken over the play calling.
_that's my reactions and comments...take them as you will.
God Bless.

Re: 244 of Don's 301 came against Ken Bussard.
First off i would like to say that CC was losing 21-0 in the second quarter when they attempted the 4th and 1 at their own 40. Any coach would have made the same call. It was not the coaching it was the lack of blocking upfront that lead to the two yard loss. Secondly, the 15 yard personal foul took place in the fourth when it was 28-0. It had no consequence on the game what so ever and it had nothing to do at all with the coaching. So "Manfred" shut up.Manfred wrote: FH didn't show much. They didn't have to. Not hard to figure who you root for is it. I gave my opinion, same as you. Bite me.

The 15 yard personal foul, no matter WHEN it occurred, is typical of a Bussard coached team.

I'm pretty sure Forest Hills is about 85-1-1 against Richland the last 30 years.
