Bedford sets win mark

Post by Lefteyelouie »

Bedford wrestled richland tonight and set BHS's alltime consecutive dual meet wins record at 38. Bedford beat Richland 60-18 to set the mark. I think the last loss for this team in the regular season was mid season 07.

Bedford is looking pretty tough as a few of the new wrestlers are wrestling pretty tough. Lookout for Weyandt at 145 and Krupa at 215. They give Bedford 7 very good wrestlers.

Only one good match in the meet tonight. Weyandt wrestled George from RHS. Goerge won the match by 4 I think but it was a 1 point match until the final seconds. Harris went down and prevented a nice matchup at 160 between him and Gibbons.

I had predicted four losses for this Bedford team at the end of last season. I think now maybe only 2 regular season losses.

Let me set the record straight for everyone. The last loss by the Bisons in the regular season was to Central Cambria in 2007. I don't remember the score but I do know that this was the last loss for I have been apart of the team for the last 5 years.

No, the tire ordeal was in 2004 and was against bedford because i can remember leaving the gym and seeing a ton of people looking around and couldn't figure out what was going on until the next day at school. Perhaps ham can remember this too, he was also on bedfords team that year.
