Future of district 5

Post by gumboots »

i know it doesnt have a lot of meaning since we are in the middle of the season right now but next year or the year after how are everyones teams lookin. i could be wrong but heres what i think
berlin will fade off
north star will stay strong
township will get much better
somerset and meyersdale will stay the same
ridge and nbc will lose a few but still be good
hyndman will still be awesome
shade who knows what will happen with them
i think i got all the teams

yea look for Hyndman to stay stong for a couple years now! And CR has one of the the best JH programs around so they will have a good bunch of kids to come up to.

i think what gumboots is talkin about it when this years sophmores will be seniors, we have 7 or 8 sophmores this year that are looking like they could have potential. but your right the junior high program isn't strong right now, could improve because they have a better coach, but they dont have many wrestlers showing skill coming through. So i'm guessing that in 2 years our program will be better than it has been the last 2 years. but after that it's going to drop like a brick.

This I say- Be the best, Be yourself and not like the rest. Work real hard to be real tough,
And remember that 100 percent is not good enough.

in so. co...berlin will fade off because they graduate just about all of their good wrestlers after this year...township could be decent in a year or two but that could be it for awhile...north star will lose some excellent wrestlers but will still have nice teams for more years to come...really dont know anything about meyersdale and shade...

my bedford county synopsis...ridge will continue to be strong in the foreseeable future...hyndmans team will still have a few solid kids but after the snyders graduate the solid dual meet team will go down the tubes...nbc's program and bedford's program look a lot alike right now...both have young varsity teams and strong junior high teams......i dont know anything about tussey but i think they have a young team this year for the most part...everett will lose grimes for sure but i think they have nave and brambley both back...more of the same from everett in the future until 4him snares the head coaching job...in conclusion, the only school in bedford county that doesnt have a worthless senior class in any sport is everett(football and basketball anyway)...
