Pitt's numbers?

Post by The Ancient Enemy »

Okay, so, Pitt has 13 commitments now w/ Issaka. I'm sure they are going to take more kids. But Pitt has 12 seniors on the roster according to rivals, which was updated today. Even w/ 1-2 early entrees, where are these scholarships?

14 commits, Breon Allen for whatever reason doesn't get counted.

But I do know Aaron Smith from Gateway and Aundre Wright were leaving the team for injury reasons.
Also Andre Givens did not qualify from this past year's class.

I know if you get injured while on scholarship, you still get to go to the school for free.

Do they count against the team's 85?

Also Quentin Jefferson the DE from Woodland Hills has narrowed his two teams to Iowa and Pitt. I can't imagine him going to Pitt, with Gibson and Issaka recently committing.

So I figure

we have 12 seniors.
Baldwin and possibly Dion leave. there is 2 more
Andre Givens didn't qualify
Elijah Fields? I think his scholarship is open again.
and with the Smith and Wright situation that gives them....18?

Just my estimations, I could be wrong.

I thought Fields was long gone months ago?

yeah right after the season, I don't think his scholarship was used right away though. We have 12 seniors, he would be the 13th.
