Michigan and Nebraska are huge programs but as recent history shows they can hit rock bottom like anyone else.
Iowa is consistent.
Michigan State always chokes.
Northwestern will never win the Big 12.
Minnesota doesn't look to be playing in any Rose Bowls either.

Bball wise Michigan State is the only respectable program here, everyone else is mediocre or really bad. I mean Iowa, Northwestern and Nebraska have been awful of late.
Michigan and Minnesota show promise on some years.



This division seems better
Ohio State rarely has down seasons
Penn State is always gonna be right there, assuming Joke steps down
Wisconsin always plays a weak non conference schedule and can have a few good seasons if everything happens right for them
Purdue sucks
Indiana is worse
Illinois can be good about once every ten years.

This is by far the better Basketball side too
Ohio State and Purdue are legit top 15 contenders year in and out.
Illinois and Wisconsin is always pretty good
Indiana is a Basketball school, I think they'll be better in a few years
And well Penn State.....

This Basketball Division is brutal.

Ohio State went 40 years between national titles. They are "up" right now, as everything moves in cycles.

So... what's your issue? The ACC has 4 teams in 1 division who are all conference contenders on a yearly basis now. College sports are very, very cyclical as you should know by now.

Look at it like this... Nebraska was 1 second from being BXII champs after years of garbage and with kids who were recruited to fit a completely different offense. Wisconsin is overrated every year. But all they need are a few tweaks that they are slow to make. Pitt had tons of athletes and the two absolute worst coordinators in a BCS conference. They lost them both and made WAY better hires, and are now getting a lot of hype. Rich Rodriguez left and WVU took a huge drop off. I'm sorry, but West Virginia sucks. I know that's a "big game" for Pitt, but Pitt is gong to demolish West Virginia for the next couple years. Cincinnati went to a BCS game and this year might win 7 games with that new coach.

This all can happen within 1-2 seasons. Joe could retire tomorrow morning and PSU could go 6-6 as they lose complete organization so close to the season.

The point is, teams always rise up. If one of those divisions sucks in the B10, one of those teams will finally make the right hire and they'll take over the division.
