Well Dixon it is...

Ben's out for 4 games, Leftwich is hurt.
Next in line is Dennis Dixon.

He is the guy I wanted all along. We'll see how it goes.
Thoughts?

Mendenhall needs to step it up, because the team is going to be relying heavily on him. I don't see them doing any worse with Dixon than they would have with Leftwich to be honest. They'll be competitive with Tennessee and Atlanta, should beat Tampa Bay and probably lose to Baltimore. The defense is the key, they have to be stellar because the chances of putting up big points probably isn't great.

Was it announced yet? I was listening to Pittsburgh sports radio all day and they made it sound like they thought Batch would be named the Starter with Dixon coming in a times to mix it up

Hmm I haven't heard Batch's name all summer long, they made it seem like he wasn't going to be a factor.

Neither had I, but today on the FAN Ron Cook and Vinny were saying they are hearing that Batch will be named the starter with Dixon coming in at times.
