Great news for Pitt and Penn State

Post by The Ancient Enemy »

Since PSU fans have to hope and pray Ohio State does not take anyone they want, today OSU landed their 4th commit for 2012. This should seal up OSU's RB recruiting for next year.

That's great news that OSU doesn't want Rushel Shell. Since we cant land anyone head to head against them, now we have a shot.

Thank you, sir, may I have another?

Wanny will take Shell if he can get him...Then Pitt will have 99 RBs and 1 OL...

What scares me is both kids have bodies that can be easily transitioned to Linebackers.

Shell is not out of the Buckeyes radar. Trust me, if they want to, they can make room for a kid like this.

And quite frankly, I don't think we can take Shell.

We have to move forward with Jameel Poteat as the back of the future.

Lewis and Graham will both be juniors, and at least one, maybe both will be here for their senior years, plus Poteat, and all these little 5-6 backs.

I saw Poteat against Cumberland Valley 2 weeks ago. He was banged up with a shoulder injury but still ran real well.

Good to hear, people were questioning the durability of him and saying he might not be an every down college back. 5-11 195 seems alright to me. Can you throw a comparison out for JP?

Not real flashy or anything like that but he ran real hard even after struggling a little bit earlier in the game with the shoulder injury. He looks like Silas Redd does this year. Real thick lower half and runs real hard. He'll have to with Pitt's OL.

Yeah I'll say. Good to hear.

How was Noah Spence? The McDevitt DE. He was named a top 10 player for next season by Scout.

That would break the trend of high profile McDevitt kids going to Pitt.
