Rearick Named PSAC Player of the Week

After being stuck as the back up for three seasons, Travis Rearick has made the most of his chances being the starting QB for the Mercyhurst Lakers. Travis has led the Lakers to three straight victories over IUP, Edinboro, and Cal U (who was ranked #3 in the nation). In those three games he has thrown for 9 TD's and rushed for another TD and thrown for 787 yds. Included in those totals are the four TD tosses and 299 yds against #3 Cal U Saturday. A lot of players from our area have been stuck in Travis's position, buried in the depth chart. To his credit he stayed the course and is now reaping the benefits.
