Doubt thats true and if it is it wouldn't be on scholarship, it would be a preferred walk-on.
Pitt has 16 commits and room for only 18 max? They have an awful line and only have 1 lineman locked up. Doubt a Runningback,Linebacker with average size, playing against poor competition would be seeing a look from a BCS conference team. No knock on the kid just how it is. You have to be either huge, fast, or amazing to see a look from around here. He's not any of those. he's really good though.

I thought Eric Lowry could do what Pecora was doing and be a Walk on at Pitt, same with Josh Seidel. Maybe Dudukovich as well. To be honest I've only seen him on films, never in person, but he seems to be on par with those good McCort backs numbers and sucess wise, but they ended up at 1-AA and D2 respectively.

Why not? Pitt will put 50 lbs. of muscle on him and he can take over for Hynoski at fullback in two years.

The poster has 2 posts guys. Come on. As far as him being a Hynoski, he's no Hynoski. 50 pounds? Not without the use of banned substances. Come on guys. This is what I'm talking about. Now if this kid ends up going to a good D2 school it looks like failure.

Nick's a great highschool back with good speed and power.. but nobody in the LHAC is a D1a recruit this season.

I don't think Nick would do well adding 50 pounds. Some kids can't hold that weight.

How about Justin Gildea? He went to temple and starts as a sophomore?

Also to add, I heard last year that Temple also looked at Shane Cafferty, Lucas Runk, and Eric Keefer a little. Nothing like, begging for them or offering full rides, but a talk or two.

Cafferty went to IUP

Runk & Keefer are having good senior years.

I've seen a few Central games and this Keefer kid has not really stood out to me. Doesn't do much on offense and is an okay defensive player. I have a hard time believing that Temple was ever interested in him. Runk and Cafferty I would believe because they were actually standout players and put up the big numbers. It's one thing to get something like "come to our camp" because we want your money, and another to actually talk to the coaches and take a visit. You seem to talk him up in alot of your posts, wouldn't be surprised if you were him. I'm not bashing him just saying he's not as good as you are saying.

You're spot on except for that I'm well over 25 and I graduated a long while ago. He was only mentioned in another post as a good outside backer? But if he doesn't stand out to you, that is fine. I'm not here to fight, this is a place for opinions. But anyway, I like the kid. He's always fired up. I'm not sure what games you have seen and thats alright. But I love the way he plays. For me, heart is a big thing. I just see a difference when he makes a play. He doesn't play a lot of offense because yes, Runk is better and gets the calls. I don't know? I was just throwing out what I heard at some point last year.

BUT, back to what this page is all about.
Justin Gildea. I kid from this area that went on to be a young starter at Temple?
