Suckerfish, unfortunately we will continue to play the private schools... D6 is too concerned with the income and money part of it. But yeah, you'll see the 30 supportive snotty fans on each bishop side (sorry bishops).

But hey, on that note, pinky's up when you drink your hot chocolate bishops!

Quit your crying and step up, strap it on and win. Bellwood did it without crying.

I'll say what I have said before...I never have had a problem with playing any private schools. BC and BM are both playing at the level they need to be to compete for a D6 championship. Having said that, after seeing these two games, I don't think Portage and PM were too far behind. Either of those games could have gone differently, but didn't. BC and BM both deserve to be there, however, I do agree that the attendance of the game might be better if one of the public schools would have made the game. I hope whoever wins D6 A goes far. Good luck to both teams.

This has nothing to do with recruiting or anything else of the sort so i'm not posting this to knock either school. It's just neither of these teams have "home towns" to rally around them and come out in force to support them. When you're team is consisted of 1 or so kids from a few outlying towns from where the actual school is located you can't expect those towns to get excited about it. Now can you say that Johnstown and Ebensburg are sort of their towns, of course but obviously they don't have the same following of Johnstown High and Central Cambria. There will be some family(especially cause of the holiday maybe some extra family is in), also alumni/former players and just some fans of watching football. But when it comes down to it the attendence will be incredibly sparce compared to the past few years when you've at least had 1 public school in the Championship.
