FH looking to make a deep run at states

Post by tiger21 »

FH defense somehow has overcome losing 2 secondary players to mono, shutting out the prolific tyrone offense. And the word on the street is (alot of people don't know this) meier unger and dudukovich were all very banged up coming into this game. Dudukovich didn't even practice all week and it wasn't hard to tell he didnt have his normal burst. Unger also was hobbling around on a sprained ankle all week, and jeffy had a messed up shoulder that he rehabbed all week.

This team should be getting healthy now and is poised to make a run

i think they'll beat sharon (10-2) outta d10 next week, then they'll most likely get south fayette who upset the quips today (but they have to get past brockway and stud qb derek buganza who is the states all-time leading passer and has already tossed for 2,506 yards and 26 tds this season and 9,253 and 91tds for his career). but i think don bo and the boys have a very good shot at getting to hershey. good luck rangers, make d6 proud!

I know 3 of the games they played they put up a ton of points..they beat Hickory but i know nothing on them... I think Forest Hills sticks with the normal game plan they can win this game.

You always root for the teams in your league b/c they make the whole conference look better. Or worse.

Sharon runs a spread offense. Looking at their stats, their leading passer hasn't thrown a pass since 11/5. They don't appear to be able to throw the ball very well without that QB. Their current QB and RB have nice speed and their line has nice size. Overall, their team is pretty fast. They sometimes run a wildcat with their RB. They don't put up a ton of points but they don't give up a whole lot either. I can see the Rangers having another defensive struggle. If the Rangers can contain Sharon's RB and QB, They have a great shot at advancing to the western finals. Should be a great game.

GO RANGERS!!!

*now that I looked at more stats, they haven't updated any since 11/13. So who knows if their throwing QB has played since then. Either way, he only has 531 yards so I don't think he is a huge threat to throw.
