Pitt Coaching thoughts
So what do all the Pitt fans think? I'll be the first to say that I don't know enough about him to judge, but I was kind of underwhelmed by his coaching record at Tulsa competing in Conf USA. He was 10-3 this year but just 5-7 the year previous. I wonder if Pitt fell for the fact that his offense was very good in Conf USA but his record overall and defense pedestrian. That being said, Pitt fans seemed very enthusiastic today talking about National Prominence and National Championships which tells me that he may be a good salesman which in turn may help their recruiting. Thoughts?

I like the fact that he coached high school football for 10 years. He ought to be able to relate to the high schoolers he may be recruiting and to their coaches.

Re: Pitt Coaching thoughts
seeing the interviewed changed my mind on him somewhat, i'll up it to 5-7 now. but if they can get lewis and hynoski to stay and robison to transfer like the rumor mills are churning out well then its a different story, even though robinson would have to sit out a year
