D6 coach of year

Post by buccosin2012 »

Gotta be Neil Cobaugh. Winning the LHAC and D 6 AAA. No one else even comes close. if you disagree it's irrational and based off of jealously.

Do they give a D6 coach of the year for each classification, or just ONE coach for ALL teams classifications? And I don't think it's irrational, considering they played most of their games against SMALLER schools.

Aren't most of the schools FH play smaller than them? You sure do cry when your beloved Rangers get smashed in any sport.

Who's crying? No one is recommending Lance McGough for coach of the year? Why is he even mentioned in this discussion? Obviously we were discussing Cobaugh. How did FH enter into this?

You asked if JHS played most of their games against smaller schools. I asked a question whether the same was true with FH.

You were taking your usual shot against a school that just smashed FH. So I asked the question if most of the schools FH played were smaller than it.

I would say Hollern from McCort would be the LHAC coach of the year for the job he did after starting 0-5.

Hollern if McCort wins 6AA or Burke if Richland wins. Like sportsfan said, Hollern got his kids to hang in there after an 0-5 start, developed them and got them to believe in a system. Burke took an inconsistent group that, besides Malzi and Ritenour, isn't overly talented, didn't know how to win or even play very hard, and had to learn a new system to the D6AA finals in 1 year. Cobaugh is a fine coach but to be honest he is loaded with talent. I think his time to prove how good he is will have to wait a couple years when this current Trojan team is gone.

I wasn't taking a shot against GJHS. I see that now there are others who think someone other than Cobaugh deserves it. Just giving the facts about playing smaller schools. If FH is one of them, so be it.
