The pipeline may close, but if there is a player good enough to play there, they'll take him. Wanny reached on a few guys over this way....Corson barely lasted. Reed seems slightly above his head, but his athletic ability was worth a chance. Cruz had offers from other BCS conference teams, and still has the frame to be a really good Tight End. But in college football, your given 85 scholarships at the D1 level, its hard to find that many players that'll work out. recruiting 17 and 18 year olds is a tricky job, things can change. I wish Mike all the best luck and hopefully he latches on elsewhere. He's a good athlete and started 12 games at Tight End for a BCS conference football team. That wasn't an accident. He has the ability.

They usually have tons of D1 players....Just clicking on the first 10 guys on the roster theres a former Pitt,Oregon,Florida,Youngstown State, and UMass player.
