Forbes Road is a scrappy team, but Ridge should have won the game. I think the Lions were still mentally tired from playing Tussey Mountain the night before. It's tough when two games are back to back because of rescheduling, but probably just about every team has to contend with this sometime during the season, so you can't use this as an excuse. I'm sure the Lions realize that they let one get away from them.

I'm still waiting to see consistentcy in the program at FR. They win at Tussey and CR but looses at FM by 28? I think FR and FM are in the same boat. They both have their good games and bad games. I believe in the next couple of years both will be very solid programs.

The first game between Ridge and Forbes was a close game also. Ridge won by 4 pts. In this game Forbes had a chance to tie but missed a 3pter t and had to foul. In this game Forbes had 2 guys that didn't play b/c of injuries. Both see a ton of playing time. I think Ridge knew they had to battle hard to win. I also understand that Ridge had a big win the night before.Forbes faces 2 games in a row with SF tonight and Shanksville tomorrow night. Any team can win on any given night!!!
jwasbull your crazy about forbes basketball..........they have one of the most consistent programs in the area.......they had one bad season with a jackass coach and now meck is taking that team places. I attended the FR - FM game and it was quite noticeable FR probably had the worst night of there season......and to add to it FM shot amazingly from the field. FR has probably the most consistent group of players.....Hall is one of the smartest players in the SHL. High hopes for that team in that area.

I agree...
Seeing as how Forbes is my school and my alma mater I can honestly say I agree with "the fan" because last year it was like a one man forbes team and this year its an all around team and everyone can shoot from the court no matter where. But no matter who the team is they all have bad nites and good nites as well as bad games and good games....no team is perfect and they all have this problem...Forbes will be a good team in the years to come..I as well as many others look forward to attending mroe games than usual.

You guys may have mis understood me. I meant this year. i know forbes has had many quality teams in the past years. Ive lost to some of them. What i was meaning is that they aren't very consistent game to game this year. Theres no denying that Meck has those boys fired up and ready to play. Forbes has a solid group of players and should be a force for a while, but they just need beat the teams theyre supposed to beat as well as the hard teams.
