BC v. NS
i was just wondering what peoples thoughts on this game are...
both teams are near the top of their confrences and could both be serious contenders this year up into playoffs
carrols coming off a tough upset to somerset
north stars coming off a win that broke a 3 game losing streak, and are just getting shubik back into things
post some thoughts ....

BC/NS
BC will win this game by at least 10. Their schedule is much stronger than NS.
If the game is at BC, the score could be worse.
If the game is at BC, the score could be worse.
BC isn't exactly near the top of their conference, they are behind J-town and McCort in their own section and behind those 2 and CC, Central and PC in the overall conference if I'm not mistaken.
NS doesn't have the fire power to stick with BC for 4 quarters, Shubik will get his because there is nobody on the team that can cover him, but NS doesn't have 4 guards to match up with the 4 guard system that BC implements. And with 2 6'8''+ kids rotating in and out, it will be an uphill battle for NS the entire way.

yeah i agree with most said .... i think it could go either way
i dont think BC's guards are much better if better at all than NS's tho(disregarding Shubik) ...
i do think BC DEF. has a huge advantage in the post... two 6'8 guys being guarded by 6'0 guys ... not the match u'ld hope for... north star better just hope that maybe the smaller guys use their athleticness and mobility affectivly, cuz height and strength are probably on BC's side...
one last thing .. im sure that they played absolutley horrble at somerset and somerset played very well .. but somersets only other win was to rockwood-they just beat carrol --- and somerset and north star played once already, and i think north stars j.v. played the majority of the 4th.... just something else to think about
final thing - at the end of the somerset game, a carrol player got ejected.. the game would have been tonite against westmont.. but i think the game was cancelled... so BC may be short a player against NS
keep comin with ur oppinions.. im anxious to see how this game turns out

The game is scheduled to be on the Thursday the 29th at NS. Should be a good game to watch. NS is coming back from their losses and Neri is probably getting more into the swing of things around that program. Also Shubik will be back. However I agree with what most have to say about the post.....NS just doesn't have the size down low. Hornick is a strong player but isn't tall enough to hang with these guys unless he plays with a lot of determination.

BC starts 1 6'8 forward in minameyer and joel lauer, brock lauer, mike tackas, and joel tackas...minameyers a weak excuse of a tower....the game will be won by north star if they crash the defensive boards because we all know that BC will miss more shots than NS will and anyone can rebound over minameyer for the simple fact that he isnt aggressive, if the tackas brothers are great players and will definately play hard and if lauer scores like he can then it will be a great unpredictabile game...
