Pitt Spring game to be played at North Alleghany High School

Post by KirkHerbstreit »

Stadium fits 5K. Rumor has it they will tarp the bleachers from the 15 yd line to the end zone, so the stadium appears more full. If they don't sell that place out, I say move it to Ferndale or Nanty Glo next year. At least that's not a big recruiting weekend, oops it is.

I normally stay out of the Pitt chit-chat, being a Penn State guy and all, but this made me chuckle. And even if you're a Pitt fan, you had to laugh at this.

It was funny. But not a big deal to me. They still play every week. And I'll take a seat at Heinz any day over a 8" board at beaver stadium

I must agree there BB, being squeezed in at Beaver is not one of my favorite things in the world. When I do go to the occasional Pitt game with my family, as they are all Pitt fans, it is nice to have normal sized seat.

While we're on the subject of stadiums. Is PSU still considering changing the name of Beaver Stadium, or are they going to wait for the outcome of the Sandusky trial?

They never were, and never will, considering changing the name of the stadium.

Let's get this thread back on it's original subject. Here is the picture the post gazette used about their article about the Pitt Spring game (Not really but it would have been hilarious)

Still 100,000 penn state fans on a white out its worth bein g squeezed instead of a thursday night against South Florida with 30,000 fans singing sweet caroline....pitt games are a fun filled family event just as exciting going to a Curve game.

I'll tell you what's funny. Kirk wants to get back to the original topic, and then MAKES UP A JOKE about Pitt's spring game attendance.
