Hello Bleachercoaches,
I just want to give you all a little insight to what has been happening in the sports world in the Laurel Highlands!
The Westmont Hilltop Recreation Commission has started their first lacrosse venture! The West Hills Lacrosse Club was formed in April 2012, and has been offering clinics to the youth interested in playing the fastest growing game in the country!
We are currently offering clinics, held at The Mound Field ( across from the top of the Incline Plane in Johnstown).
The clinics are open to kids in grades 5-12.
We will be holding 3-4 more clinics this summer before the club team will start practice at the end of September.
The club will be broken into 3 age divisions (5th/6th grade, 7th/8th grade, and 9th/12th grade.)
Starting in September, the club will be a year round event, with practice and clinics being held in the Fall/Winter, along with games, tournaments, etc starting in the Spring/Summer of 2013.

Great news. I know that there is a Brine Lacrosse All-American living in the area. Have your reached out to her for any help?
