Week 4 in the ICC
Week 4 in the ICC
6-0 again last and 16-3 on the season.
Week 4-
SH @ Tussey Mountain
I thought Southern would be down, but I never thought they'd be this far down. This game is a must win for Tussey to get back on the right track. They are likely to win 6 games but they can't have any misfires.
Tussey 34 SH 6
Mount Union @ Moshannon Valley
Mount Union has been impressive early in the season. Are they good or has it been the matchups? We'll find out this week when the Trojans make the trip to Houtzdale. I think Mo Valley is for real and Mount Union is about to run into a rough stretch. MV, Bellwood NBC, Eve, WB, TM, Penns Valley. This team likely wins 2-4 games. We'll see.
MV 29 MU 13
Claysburg @ Northern Bedford
CK lost a heartbreaker last week 51-44 against Juniata Valley. Claysburg is a team that has the guys to win 6 or 7 games. This will be a big test at NB. Helsel can run the ball and they throw it fairly well as well. Claysburg has the potential to play in a lot of shootouts. They have small corners and do not match up well at all against the NB passing attack.
NB 35 Claysburg 13
Everett @ Williamsburg
The Warriors are 0-3. Williamsburg is 1-2. The Blue Pirates have the better offense. Everett has size and speed but they can't seem to put it all together. I think they do in this one.
Everett 20 - Williamsburg 14
Glendale @ West Branch
This game should be a blast to watch. Two teams that aren't too far from each other and don't seem to like each other very much are usually fun to watch. Two of the best backs in the conference will go toe to toe. Braniff hasn't really gone off yet and Speigle has been a monster on a weekly basis. This game has playoff implications for District 6 I think. I'm not sure how I feel on this one. This is the toughest game of the week to pick, that's for sure. The x-factor is Twigg. I'll go with Glendale
Glendale 33 WB 31
GAME OF THE WEEK: Juniata Valley @ Bellwood
This is game of the week material every year. Was JV looking ahead to Bellwood last week or is CK pretty good? It is short and sweet nearly every week with Bellwood because they are the best team in the conference year in and year out. The difference this year is that Juniata Valley is in the new Silver division while Bellwood is in the Gold. This game won't decide the "conference champion" as it has in the past. More of the same in this matchup-
Bellwood 32 JV 13
