I predict that CR will win both D-5 team tourney and Individual titles this year. Seems like coach Lazor really has it together and his kids have worked hard in the off season. I expect to see them run D-5 this year.

Bedford I think will be down from last year. Bedford could have had their best team in years this year, but I don't expect to see it happen.

I just really think CR is hungry, from the coaching staff straight on down through the wrestlers. I think Bedford is lacking some of that hunger to maintain or reach that level they have been in the past.

There are numerous reasons I have but, that is one of the main ones.

Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard.

Ridge looks to be the odds on favorite this year in D5, as I agree they have a stock pile of good wrestlers. Lazor is a class act, great coach and all around good guy. Bedford on the other hand is right there with them as they are always tough and have some super good wrestlers returning, not to mention their Jr. High always seems to be loaded. My guess one of these two teams win D5. I really dont know that any other teams in D5 would have a shot at beating them.

You are so right Lefteyelouie about hard work, also I feel discipline from the coaches, and respect for the coaches from the wrestlers are the next best things, along with hard working team captains pushing them in practice, wow what a team that would be. Maybe that's Ridges success throughout the years.

I wouldn't count Bedford out either. They are going to be really solid in the lower weights with Gabriel, Easter, Thomas. They still have Williams and koontz in the upper middle weights. I'm sure they will field a solid team as always. Anyone have any early season prejected weights or line-ups? Matches start next week so it's really not that early.

Oh yeah I did. I've moved out of PA so I tried to do that from memory. And why isn't koontz wrestling? Just lost interest?
