Richland gets Hickory & Belwood gets Delone Catholic.

Anyone know anything about either of those 2 squads?

Hickory lost one regular season game to Wilmington 35-28 back in September... then this past weekend beat Wilmington 39-7 in the playoffs.. one senior running back has almost 30 rushing TD... breaking it down i like Richland...

Delone plays "up" in schedule and has 3 losses...Hickory returns their entire backfield from last year that played us real tough for 3 qtrs...d10 is alot like d6 will be next year(alot of senior heavy teams with returning studs)that being said....I'll take B-A and Hickory-7 each

After what I saw last night I'm taking BA by 28 over Delone.

I have to believe that the odds-on favorite coming out of the East is Dunmore after their win over Southern Columbia, but I think it'd be a heckuva game against Bellwood should they both survive. Bristol put a whooping on an undefeated Williams Valley team on Saturday--didn't see that coming. Bucks and Warriors should also be a good one at Valley View.

A: B-A (-14) Steel-High had some athletes and the Delone held them in check. Heard Josh Funk on the 12th Man Show say that the Rollers tried to get cute with a fake punt, a reverse that lost major yardage on 3rd down, and it just went downhill quickly after that. Don't see anything like that happening with the Blue Devils, but you never know. Hayes will have them ready.

AA: Richland (+10) Not surprised Hickory won with DeShawn Coleman back, but I thought the Hounds Hammer defense would have contained him more. He was their stud last year (2,000+ yards rushing), 21 carries for 156 yards against Tyrone. Wilimington had 5 fumbles and couldn't move the ball on Saturday. Richland may throw some gadgets at them, but I don't know if they can hold Coleman in check all night. Should be good one at Slippery Rock regardless. Hopefully Richland can pull off the upset.

DeShawn Coleman is a beast. I do believe he is committed to WVU but don't quote me on that. I went to the Tyrone v Hickory game last year and Hickory Lost that game on turnovers and their defense wasn't the strong point of their team. Also if Tyrone didn't meet DeShawn in the backfield he was crazy good. Just YouTube his highlights as a Junior, he made Stevie Franco and the rest of the Golden Eagles look very silly on a couple of runs. This game against Richland has the makings for a shoot-out. Should be a great game.

He is indeed committed to WVU. Rivals has him as a 3 star prospect and also holds offers from Purdue, PSU, Pitt, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan State, and Oklahoma State.

he is the real deal...but I guaruntee you if ya load the box, ya lose, the qb has been there and can throw and the other back runs real well too(3year starter)....I'm pulling for the Rams here, but they are the dawg IMO.

I think the underdog role fits, and motivates, these kids more than being favored. I hope they rise to the occasion.
