Tristan Douglas
Tristan Douglas
Tristan is a 16 year old student at Southern Fulton High School. He plays basketball and baseball for the Indians. This past summer Tristan was a member of the Flood City Elite 16u summer team as well as the 17u Flood City Elite fall team. This summer he is on the 17u Flood City Elite National Team. On November 9th, 2012 Tristan and his family were informed that Tristan was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, which is a treatable form of cancer. Tristan has already undergone a successful surgery and has been in and out of the D.C. Children’s Hospital for several forms of treatment. Tristan has recently started his chemotherapy and still has 50 weeks of treatment ahead of him. With all of Tristan’s treatments and doctors’ appointments, the expenses will be mounting, so we are asking all the members of the Flood City community to chip in and help out a family in need. Tristan is a very avid hunter who loves hunting and the outdoors; we have decided to start a fundraiser towards a “Big Buck Hunt” to help Tristan and his family. To kick off the fundraiser we Flood City Elite are donating $500.00 towards a deer-hunting trip. We will be selling “Strike Out Cancer” t-shirts for $20.00 to help Tristan and his family. Our goal is to raise anywhere from $3,000-$5,000 over the course of this fundraiser. For every $20.00 you donate you will receive a “Strike Out Cancer” t-shirt, if you are interested in helping fight against cancer and you would like to purchase a t-shirt please email Tyler Weyant ([email protected])with your T-Shirt size. If you do not want a shirt and would like to make a smaller donation, you will be able to do so at either ERA Facility. We hope that we can come together as an organization and help a family in need, this is a great cause and we hope that you are able to contribute.
You can make a donation at the J-Town ERA location as well.
