Re: 2013
Top players for Windber will be Barkley and the Tomlinsons. To me, Barkley was the most impressive wide out in the WestPac this year. Yeah..I know Strassiser is considered the best but if Barkley had the size to match, most wouldn't consider what I'm saying so crazy. I can't think of one drop all year from him. I'm sure I'm wrong but I struggle to remember any. He more than likely won't have the same type of numbers next year because qb Gipe will be gone but ya never know. When Gipe went down in the playoff game against Tussey, the 3rd string qb went off with 3 tds and Barkley had a great game as well with 10 rec..145 yrds and a couple tds. I'm thinking he may have had 7 or 8 ints. on the year as well.
The Tomlinsons are both slick ball players. I'm not sure, but I think one of them will be moving to Qb. I could be wrong on that though. Heck, if the Podrasky kid shows that he can do the job like when he was forced into action against Tussey, maybe coach will think they would be better off playing Tomlinson elsewhere.
I guess I'd be remissed if I didn't mention Dustin Blough as well. He's a tough, hard nosed kid but at times struggles to stay healthy. Windber will have a nice group of skill players overall so if their line plays well they could very well win the WestPac again..
