I think D5 will be represented in every weight class at the State tournament with the exception of maybe one class. IMO

106- Gabriel
120- Easter
126- Thomas
145- Gartland or Cahill
160- Fotchman
170- Bollman 0r 182
182- Dibert or 170
195-220 Nickolson, Bennett or Albright 2 of the 3.
285- Buttry
others to watch-
Crouse, Day, Miller, Replogle, Brett's, Williams, Berkley, Mostoller
I would say D-5 gets under 12 to states.

I wouldn't be surprised seeing the younger cahill making it to states as well.I believe he's at 152. Although a tough weight class, imo he could advance.

I think the younger cahill has a great shot at making it to states, he has come into his own and would represent d5 very well

Ive been hearing that Easter is probably dropping to 120 if he does he could definately make a run at a Regional championship. As far as Gabriel there is some tough kids returning from last year. I think he is a qualifier but more at that 4 & 5 place spot. Bedford and Ridge could definitely qualify multiple kids this year.123wrestler wrote:Gabriel and Easter deffinitely are a favorite to place place in top 3

Bedford- Gabriel, Easter, maybe Thomas
Berlin- maybe Bryce Fochtman, maybe C. Miller
Ridge- Bollman, Dibert, Buttry, maybe Albright
CT- Tanner Cahill
Everett- none
Hyndman- Bennett
Meyersdale- Day, maybe Deist
North Star- maybe Tevin Mostoller
NBC- Gartland, maybe Corle, maybe Replogle
Shade- none
Somerset- Nickelson
Tussey- none
i'd say d5 sends around 10-14 kids to states this year.....Regionals is tough, though so maybe like 8???

Both cahill boys are nice wrestlers and can do well this year. They are good kids. The younger one will be a beast also.
