MORELLI CHOOSES PENN STATE!!!

Ranked the 2nd best QB recruit in the country, we got ourselves a keeper!!! This might mean that Robinson never sees the field as a QB again, but that is another story altogether.

Morelli is 6'4", 208. He is from Penn Hills, and he runs the 40 in 4.7. This should really, really bolster this class...I am really excited about this kid.

2nd best QB in the country is from penn hills?? the only QB from wpial land i heard of this season was DiMichael from sto-rox. but PSU grabbing him is definetly a good thing, lets just hope he doesnt turn out to be another Mill's, start of stellar and end sour. i think that with this years recruiting class and possibly an addition to the coaching staff, penn state should be a top 25 team no problem this year...i hope!

Morelli had verballed to Pitt and then went back on it. He is a 5* QB recruit...Another star, 4* running back, Andrew Johnson is also spurning Pitt today and should announce for Miami.

Rivals has three guys as 5* pro-style quarterbacks, and Morelli is listed as second ahead of the guy that spurned PSU, Chad Henne.

seems that alot of pitt possibles are goin back and switching schools, PSU being one of them. wpial-titan, any excuses as to why no one wants to go to pitt? i thought they were the mecca of college ball? :lol:

Ill Tell you what i am very very proud of morelli for staying in the state and not leaving the state like other good qb's do that live in our state it will take a least 1 -2 years before he gets use to the system of joe pa and penn state.

Yeah, I guess now AMoreli will have to give up his courtside, VIP seats to all the Pitt men's hoops games this year.

Not to worry, he could probably START for PSU's men's basketball team, let alone get a courtside seat...

personally i would rather play football for PSU than have courtside vip seats to Pitt bball games. everyone knows the only good thing to ever come out of pitt is the Squirrel hill tunnels :lol:
