Heritage Conference week 2 preview

Heritage Conference week 2 preview
Well with week 1 over its time to see what week 2 has in store, lets start with my conference rankings.
1. Ligonier valley (1) - not as clean as some would like but a shutout and blowout is what keeps them at the top. Until they lose they'll be #1for me.
2. Homer center (2) - wildcats made the biggest statement this week. They take the place as best A team in the conference.
3. Penns Manor (4) - after winning a game with their line and their new qb having a great game I felt pm deserved the bump over Blairsville.
4. Blairsville (2) - their offense was saved by their rb Robinson who was easily the mvp of last week. 3 int worries me because the heritage is not a good pass defense conference.
5. Northern cambria (3) - 1.5 yards is all they needed
To win ans they couldn't do it. But they have potential.
6. Marion center (6) - mc looks like a team to watch out for this year.. strong game makes me feel like they will move up the standings.
7. Purchase line (8) - put up a good fight against Ligonier. Thats about it
8. United (7) - played well for 22 minutes in the first half, then it fell apart. Good signs from lions though.
9. Saltsburg (8) - nothing good... blownout and qb hurt... long season coming.
Week 2 predictions
Marion center over saltsburg 28-6
Ligonier valley over united 42 - 7
Blairsville over purchase line 28-14
Penns manor over conomaugh valley 28-20
Game of the week

Konjo, nice ranking of the Heritage. You have brought more interest in the league with some new contributors, good job.

5. Northern is in a must win game next week.

I think its a little early to say United is the worst team in the conference. They have played Bishop Canevin and Ligonier, Ligonier is top two in the league and Canevin would probably beat just about everyone in the Heritage. Am I biased? Probably, but I don't think they are the worst team. Personally, I think Saltsburg is but we shall see.
