Start Talking
Bored sitting here so thought I'd post something, whose the teams in D5/6 AA to beat and whose the wrestlers and weights people are excited about?

I think D5 front runner would have to be Chestnut Ridge. Especially if Gabriel transferred. Either way Bedford should be in
the thick of things with Berlin as a dark horse.

As far as district 6 is concerned I am not sure of who will be there at the end but, I believe Blairsville is returning
a pretty tough team from a year ago.

Gabriel didn't go anywhere.

Was told this in July by three Bedford parents, just saying what I was told
Re: Start Talking
Gotta agree with Lefty--didn't hear anything about any transfer. Wouldn't surprise me if he did, but I did not hear anything confirmed.

Re: Start Talking
Oh boy the wrestling talk has started & I'm excited.
I heard rumors about Gabriel transferring but they are just rumors.
One of my biggest interests this year will be CR's involvement in the Powerade Tournament. That is one of THE best tournaments in the country. It feels very similar to Bedford going to the KOM after their run in the PIAA tourney a few years ago. Realistically, I think only a few will be contenders to place. Buttry is the only CR kid i feel very confident in coming home with some Powerade hardware. I hope that im proved wrong though. I love it when a little D-5 school shows up on the big stage and does really well.
CR is the frontrunner for D-5. Bedford has some really good individual talent (Gabriel, Easter, Thomas, Brett) but not enough depth to challenge for the D-5 duals.

Re: Start Talking
Berlin and Ridge, (MY prediction) 138-160 is gonna be DEEP this year! 106, 113, 170-285 are going to be less competition, at least in D-5.
