Next Year's Freshmen

Post by SportsLover61 »

Most of the Junior High football seasons coming to an end either this week or next. With that said, I want to know....who do we all think will make an impact next year as freshman, since they have to be moved up?? Let's hear some thoughts.

If your team needs to start freshmen, you got problems.

That's definitely not true, especially in the WestPac...just look at Galasso at CV last year

Portage has had some big impact freshman in the past 2 Seasons with Vassas, Dividock & Gossard last year and Vocco the year before. The Mustangs had another successful Junior High Season going 7 - 1 so we'll see if that trend continues next year.

Most of PM's line has started since freshman year or saw a lot of playing time as freshman. And PM Junior High went 7-1 this year.
You're only young once, but you can be immature forever!!!

I'm not sure what grade he is in but Stephen Dumm's (the LB and OL/FB for PM, #65) little brother is a VERY solid football player. Good size already, too.

Also, last year I know Portage had Dividock, Berlin had the Fochtman boy playing and NC Lettered Freshman Mike Sclesky who's about 6'3 330 pounds.

Nathan is a sophomore and yes he is vary solid. I think A starter next year.

Can't say this is true at all. Clairton's starting RB most of the season was a freshman. He had close to a thousand yards this year. Woodland Hills RB Miles Sanders started as a freshman.

2 MAINSTAYS from their freshman year thru next year- Joe Donoughe and Ian Wieczorek. If not for in juries, we'd have started a couple more, Andy Pinkas and Dallas McClintock, and maybe another?
It ain't over until it's over.

Northern Bedford's Jacob Dasher is leading all freshmen in the country in receiving per maxpreps. NB is 7-2.
