District 5/6/8/9 A-AAA Week 2 Playoff Predictions
Lets start this off with D5 A where we have a round 2 of the backyard brawl.
Meyersdale @ Berlin
Meyersdale had a little trouble with Windber Friday night but I look for them to come out ready to go this Friday. Berlin had a bye week which could be beneficial or hurt them. If they run a little more balanced attack which I think they should so the Raiders don't key on Fochtman they could be on their way to the D5 Championship. Berlin 42-28
Shade @ Tussey Mountian
It is without a doubt very impressI've what Shade didto NBC last week but I think their luck runs out here. Dont really have much to say but that Tussey runs away with this one. Tussey 35-7
I'm gonna go straight to D6 A now and save both District Championships for last.
D6 A
Bishop Guilfoyle @ Portage
Much anticipated the Mustangs will have their hands full here. With that being said so does BG. I think both teams are very solid teams. I believe BG has the better defense which is what will win this game along with the play of outstanding QB Chadbourne.
Portage counters well with a solid QB in Brya and a host of good rushers. But I don't think that will be enough. 21-13 BG
Bishop Carroll @ Homer Center
This could get lopsided really quick. I think BC wins big as long as they don't beat themselves.
35-0 BC
D6 AA
I think AA is the least intruiging this week.
Tyrone @ Richland
Tyrone is a good football team. Richland is just in a league of their own right now. Tyrone has weapons but Richland is all weapons. Richland 48-21
Forest Hills @ Central
As much as I would love to see two LHAC teams go for the title I just can't see a way for the Rangers to pull off this upset. Central has a so many playmakers and a solid QB maybe a team that could give Richland a run. The Dragons have been rolling all year and I don't see them slowing down.
Central 42-14
Now time for the two championship contests for this coming weekend.
Bedford vs. Chestnut Ridge
Ridge pulled out a big win in week 10 against the Bisons and kept that going Friday against a weak Westinghouse team. Bedford has been consistant all year and have a very solid rushing attack and can air it out if they have to. Anything could happen in this game but my gut tells me. 28-26 Bedford.
D5/6/8/9 AAA
Somerset Vs.Clearfield
Clearfield is perfect on the year and they kept that up by pummeling Johnstown Friday. Christian Lezzer is a special talent and really boosts this team to another level. With that being said Somerset comes into this game with only 1 loss coming to Richland in the late seconds week 6. Tanner Stull is Somersets Version of Lezzer. He's the heart of this team and the leader. He's hard to bring down and quick on his feet. He can also beat you with his arm throwing to multiple playmakers on Somerset recieving crew. Offensivly I find these two even maybe Somersets passing game a little better. Defense is going to depend on who wants it more. Both solid defensivly. This one is going to be a nail biter! Somerset with the upset 31-27.
Now for my "Most Intruiging Game" I would go with 2
BG @ Portage and Somerset vs. Clearfield
Upset of the week
Somersrt over Clearfield
I did mot put seedingseedlings because I believe adter the first round it doesn't matter anymore. Anyone can be beat on any given night. Let me know what you think!

I just don't see Somerset beating Clearfield. A great year for them for sure but I think Clearfield wins by 14.

Somerset can beat Clearfield, but too close for me to call. I have to agree with TRBC on the rest of the picks. Berlin wins with the revenge factor. Shade won;t be able to stop the TM running game. BG too much for Portage. BC may win easy over HC, but HC will score. Richland Rolls. End of the road for FH (although father/son championship would be cool). Bedford also uses revenge factor to win. Don't take my word on any of this, get out there next weekend and CATCH A GAME!!!!!!!!!!

I'm gonna be at Somerset/Clearfield. I'm a Somerset fan I don't think its any secret. But if this game was saturday I would be in Richland on friday night.
