District 3/6 Sub-Region Title (AAAA) - Mifflin County Vs. DuBois - MC pulled off a stunning 27-26 win over State College last week while DuBois rested. MC beat DuBois earlier this season in DuBois. I think MC's losing streak is over for at least another week. My Pick MIFFLIN COUNTY. District 6/8/9 Sub-Region Title (AAA) - Clearfield Vs. Somerset - Somerset held off U-Prep last week after going up 19-0 early to win 28-20. Clearfield had little trouble with JHS 42-7. For the Eagles to win this game they got to stop the 3 headed snake in the Clearfield backfield led by QB Christian Lezzer who has rushed for 1,567 yards and 29 TD's. Also there is Tyler Stratton 992 rushing 17 TD's and Seth Caldwell 748 rushing and 7 TD's. My Pick CLEARFIELD. District 5/8 Sub-Region Title (AA) - Chesnut Ridge Vs. Bedford - CR had little trouble with Westinghouse winning 55-20. Bedford had little trouble with Everett winning 41-24. This is a rematch of week 10 that saw CR edge Bedford 27-21. My Pick BEDFORD. District 5 Semi-Finals (A) - Meyersdale @ Berlin - Meyersdale won the regular season battle in 3 OT's. Last week Meyersdale got by Windber 18-15 while Berlin had a bye week. I think Berlin gets its revenge. My Pick BERLIN. Shade @ Tussey Mt. Shade pulled out a stunning win over Norther Bedford last week 42036 while Tussey Mt had little trouble with North Star 33-14. My Pick TUSSEY MT. District 6 Semi-Finals (A) - Bishop Carroll 2 Homer-Center - No one expected BC to win 7 games and beat the likes of JHS (AAA), Forest Hills (AA), usual A powerhouse Bishop McCort but they did. HC won the Heritage conference with wins over Ligonier Valley and Penns Manor but I think the LHAC is a tougher place to play. My Pick BISHOP CARROLL. Bishop Guilfoyle @ Portage - LHAC team Vs. Westpac team Still say LHAC is tougher football. Neither of these teams has lost since week 2. Last week BG beat Penns Manor 25-0 Portage thumped Blairsville 49-14. My Pick BISHOP GUILFOYLE. District 6 Semi-Finals (AA) - Tyrone @ Richland - Tyrone beat JHS (AAA) 20-9, Richland clobbered them 48-7. Point no way Tyrone can stop Richland's trio of Matt Shaffer (QB), Tanner Solarczyk (RB), and Kyle Flick (WR). My Pick RICHLAND. Forest Hills @ Central Martinsburg - FHS pulled out a 14-13 win over a pretty good Mt Union team while Central ran away from Central Cambria 42-6. Any other year FHS would be the pick this year well, My Pick CENTRAL MARTINSBURG.
