Heat acclimation week

Post by knowitall »

The temperature is supposed to reach 72 Wednesday and Thursday before soaring to 73 on Friday. Can the boys handle it?

Yes Sheldon, that was sarcasm. Haha, sorry I had to. I think everyone is happy that these boys are at less risk of heat related issues..... But a tiny part in all of us that endured a minimum of 2 weeks of 90+temps and humidity,"back in the day" are at least a little bit annoyed that a class sneaks thru without it... Lol

Those poor babies! They know nothing about Midwest states basic Army Ranger training from early June to mid Aug. in mid to upper 90's every day, forced marches with full back packs, no sleep due to tornado alerts and sirens almost every night. Yeah, they have it rough.
It ain't over until it's over.

AM I missing something, doesn't preseason football practice on the 11th NOT this week. Is the weather suppose to be in the 70's even next week? If so, that is unusual.

Several schools have at least heat acclimation this week. Forest Hills and Richland start school on the 20th this year.
