lascari vs strayer

sal and strayer gave the fans a great match to watch last night. but unfortunatly strayer come out on top 4-2. i think if sal wuld get him again sometime he wuld beat him.

District 5 I agree with you 110% about lascari- strayer if those to would ever meet again i think mr. lascari could beat mr strayer

It can be said until you are blue in the face but the fact is Strayer moved up 2 entire weight classes and still beat Sal.

it was ONE entire weight class....strayer weighed in at 125, sal at 130...if you ask me or anyone else...isnt that ONE weight difference???...just checking....

I heard that the match was at 135 lbs. sorry almighty GOD of wrestling, I shall say nothing more about wrestling because you obviously know everything already.

One more thing, Brett Shaffer is a common opponent of each, how did each do? Strayer thouroughly disposed of him in a near tech fall match of 16-4 while Sal was pinned in 14 seconds by Brett.....

Jake would beat Sal 8 times out of 10. He is the superior wrestler in that matchup. Sal was very active for most of the match (especially the first two periods), but the fact of the matter is Jake will not tire. Everytime they went out of bounds Jake would jog to the middle and stand directly behind Sal while he got set into position. Jake took a total of one backwards step the whole match (when Sal was in on a double leg near the edge of the mat). Jake was the aggressor and is able to wear opponents down during the match. This is not a knock on Sal--just the facts. If I wrestled Jake, I would be suckin' wind and takin' my time to get to the middle just like anyone else. It is very difficult to wrestle a kid that never quits coming at you like that.

even though the difference in common opponent in this situation doesnt help my point much, ill still make it anyhow. in wrestling you cant use common opponents to guage who will win a match. different styles clash, and some kids cant defind some attacks as well as others. lets just say, if i beat a kid down 15-0 within the 2nd, and someone else only beat him by 1, doenst mean that i can beat that other kid. it just doenst work that way, and anyone who wrestleed knows that.

first of all sports999 sal got caught by shaffer......and if you wanna go by who beat who, shaffer beat a kid from marion center 4-1 that sal beat 11-1 so its obvious you cant go by that
