It wouldn't have mattered which team you were from, the refereeing tonight was a bit, mmm shaky?? The most obvious fouls were ignored and the more questionable ones were whistled instantly. But what are we to do...at least the questionable foul calling gives us something to talk about.

The refs were not the outcome of the game. I'm a TM fan and i want to congratulate Everett on their win. Coach Hentrich deserves a lot of credit on having his team prepared. He really used his timeouts wisely. When TM jumped out 9-2 he used one and Everett on an 11-0 run. Early in the second half TM started a little run and once again after a TO Everett increased their lead. I would like to Congratulate Tussey Mountain as well. Even though their season wasn't what they expected, this team never gave up and would fight back. They had their highs and lows but they don't need to hold their heads. TM fans are proud of this team and THANKS for your hard work and dedication..................................Also as Roadie pointed out under the Friday the 13th post it was great to see 2 schools out supporting their team. This is the way high school sports should. Good luck to Everett in the playoffs.

Very hard fought game last night that was fun to watch. TM came out on fire and Clapper led them to the comfortable early lead, When he went out with the nosebleed the last 3+ minutes of the 1st and with Zimmerman not permitted to play in the second opened the door for the Warriors to get comfortable and turn momentum back onto their side.
At Different junctures through the game when TM would appear to be on the verge of a run, the Warriors always seemed to come through with a big play by Miller or Garland to thwart the momentum swing.
I have to say the most entertaining part of the game was the mysterious calls by the most veteran of the officiating crew. There would be a collision, the whistle would blow, you would have in your mind one of two things that could be called and WHAM.....he would come up with a call out of nowhere. A jumpball, a backcourt, and a walk after bodies were sprawled everywhere where some of my personal favorites. But the most amazing call of the night was a no-call by the same guy...scramble--bodies everywhere, ball goes out of bounds right to the ref....and he makes no call....the teams are confused....seemingly a minute goes by, the other officials offer no help and suddenly the arm flails one direction....had to be there and perhaps had to be somewhat neutral to appreciate it but it was hilarious. I will say the officials didn't cost anyone the game, they were pretty bad both ways, only 1 quality ref in the bunch for a game of that caliber.
Good luck to Everett in the playoffs as they will carry the SHL/Bed Co "AA" banner along with Ridge and to Tussey congrats on an interesting season in which they were very competitive and played with as much heart and desire as any team I saw all year.
