Congratulations to Jake Strayer (FH) on reaching career win number 150 with a 4-2 decision over Sal Lascari (NS). Also, good luck to Sal as he is only one win away from a school record 123 career wins. Jake has a chance to become the all-time winningest wrestler in District 6. I believe the record is currently held by Matt Sterniolo of State College (?)

there is no doubt about jake being awsome. the record should stnad for a long time, cause the only one with his talent is garrett. only garrett will never get the matches that jake did because he is from jv. either way, best of luck to both

if Storniolo has it, that is unfortunate, because he only wrestled one year (I believe) for State College....the rest came as prep wins, and there is no comparison, over the long haul, between prep wins and PIAA wins....yes, wins are wins...but the quality of competition, except for those at the highest level (of which Storniolo was one) isn't close across the board.....

Some people are going to disagree with me on this but I'm gonna go ahead and toss it out there. That record may not stand as long as what people think.T.J Albright is already on pace to have around 35 wins this year as a freshmen. With his skill level and the amount of wrestling Tyrone does he should come very close to that mark if not break it.

As I said before, the only record that matters is where you finish at the end of the year. Ask Carlton Haselrig, 10 wins and one state title, a prelude to SIX NCAA championships!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but still 150 wins is amazing, thats averaging 37 wins a season, and thats just awesome, way to go jake

Tonight @ berlin high school Sal Lascari of north star broke the all time wins record for ns with 123 the old record was 122 by kyle sheftic
