Tying into the "Hockeyville" articles, the local 'paper' ran a nice half-page article about former local players who stayed in the Johnstown community. However.....like a lot of things, the reporter(s) don't go deep enough in their research. They could have at least mentioned Galen Head's teammates who stayed. Guys like Reggie Kent, Ron Docken, Denny Erickson, Vern Campigotto. Probably others. These guys also married local women, and made Johnstown their homes for many years. I don't know if they're still in the area, but for several decades they were a part of the legend and lore of Johnstown hockey. Anyone who has been around the War Memorial, and seen the photo's, etc., has to know of them. Step up, Trib.
