What a joke having his suspension lifted.... I guess in life you can destroy evidence and not cooperate with investigations and you'll get off free.

I'm by no means a Pats fan. But he really didn't do anything wrong. He did what is done at the HS level. The real bad guy in this case is Rodger Godell. The guy is a horrible commish. Plan and simple.

The NFL had sent a precedent with previous football tampering incidents... they went high and above that in their attempt to throw the book at Tom Brady and thats what looks bad, really bad.

There was never an independent investigation and Goddell was the "neutral party" that oversaw his original verdict. Thats a joke.

The NFL went on a witch hunt and lost. It's comical to me.

Mysteriously destroying his phone and holding back records really is grounds for suspension. Most jobs would fire you for holding back information.

But read into it... him and his attorneys offered up access to the information. Thats the part that no one wants to acknowledge or accept.

"Brady was able to obtain a log of all his phone calls and text messages, and since he had not changed phone numbers, this included calls and messages during the mysterious four-month gap. These were cross-referenced against communications listed in the Wells Report, and for the most part (with the exception of three missing texts) they matched, as Wells was given access to both Jastremski and McNally’s Patriots-supplied work phones. This is one of Brady’s strongest arguments that there are no missing damaging text messages: since Wells had access to Jastremski and McNally’s side of any damning conversations with Brady, why did he need Brady’s messages?"

He was under no legal obligation to give them access to his phone. You're trying to tell me that if your employer asked for access to your private information you would willingly give it up? No one would do that. Lets forget for a second that he is a high profile athlete married to a higher profile model. They have no obligation to give the public access to their personal lives. Look at all the stuff that has been leaked from the NFL already... you don't think any racy pictures or texts between Tom and his wife would be leaked as well?

If your employer asks for access to your personal phone and then you declined it and got fired you would have the easiest lawsuit in the history of mankind on your hands.

Don't just read into what the media tells you Konjo, read the entire story and then form a judgement. I hate the Steelers and Big Ben but I would feel the exact same way if he was in Tom's shoes.

because Brady was saying they were not true and the messages themselves were deleted.... all the investigators had was testimony from these individuals and log dates (which is all that you are getting from logs) so Mr. Brady, who has never once before destroyed a phone he stopped using ever, denies they take place. There is 0 way to get the actual messages back just date and time plus Brady is just going to deny no matter what saying there is 0 evidence. It's a travesty that he is able to get away with this because it isn't a coincidence the Patriots are once again caught cheating.

If Tom Brady has never destroyed old phones that broke or he stopped using why did he destroy this one? Hell it's known he still keeps those other phones in his possession so why all of a sudden did this one need to be destroyed by him a week before he was scheduled to be interviewed for the investigation and was requested to supply these things.....

You're totally missing the point buddy. The biggest issue is the NFL/Goddell going rogue and overstepping their boundaries. There are a list of previous teams that got caught tampering with the balls (most recent being the Panthers/Vikings). You know what happened... the teams got fined like $25k and that was the end of it. Jay Feely and the Jets were doctoring kicking balls in 2009 and the NFL found out about it and nothing happened. Aaron Rodgers has said since this happened with Brady that he likes footballs over inflated... what the hell is the difference in that? No one is losing their mind over that. If the NFL fined the Pats the standard $25k and moved on no one would have said a word.

The NFL had set a precedent with situations like this and the failed to follow that.... thats the reason this has played out like it has. Your issue shouldn't be with Brady, it's with Rogue Roger.

You still never answered my question... would you give your employer access to your personal information?
