Anybody have any input about their up coming season? I know the qb is a stud along with the LB. Does anyone think this team has enough to contend with the tops in the western part of the state. I saw they have most of their entire WR core returning and a few linemen.

Yes, they will be very strong and will contend. They return their entire defense including stud LB Elijah Parrish and 8 from a very good offense.

LV should be the favorite as u basically removed Tyrone, Central, Juniata, Forest Hills and Huntingdon from their bracket and replaced them with Westmont, Bellwood and McCort. Don't see them hanging with the D2/D3 winner after that however if that's how the brackets play out.

Not really sure why you chose them not hanging with D2/D3 winners...Dunmore, Camp Hill, maybe York Catholic...those are the top teams there and don't return good cores...then after that it's D11/12 where they'd see Phila Bishop Mcdevitt or West Catholic/Southern Columbia winner in the east final..maybe WC will be the toughest of all those teams as SC took a big hit at graduation...so I really believe, because of the new format, LV has an excellent chance to reach Hershey and maybe face a Steel Valley, Cardinal Wuerl, Berlin or Kane for the title....it's almost like, well, it IS a new classification allowing for a couple more teams to get a chance at a title that they wouldn't have under the old format....I like it

Yeah wasn't real familiar with what those teams were returning just going based off recent history. I'm cool with the new format as well.

no problem...AA is where I see a lot of change...the only real dynasty there is Southern Columbia...though that in itself is one heck of a dynasty..it's all gonna take some getting used to

Liggy is going to easily win the Heritage next year. I'm not sure anyone is going to be able to stay within two or three scores of them in the Heritage. They should get a little bit of a test in the WestPac crossover game since they will be playing the best team from the WestPac. Hopefully it will help them get ready for Districts where as everyone has stated the new classifications set up nicely for them. This is going to be the year they make a deep run into the state playoffs for sure. Roger is Roger, but he will have those kids ready to play at a high level.

Hope so, that would be nice for them.   Cambria Heights and Richland might provide some trouble provided they can make the playoffs with their LHAC record.   Is West Shamokin in the league this next year?  That will be interesting to see if they bring anything different as well.

I think Bellwood will surprise some people this season. I am not saying they will win districts but Bellwood was very young last year and returns a good group of players. I could see them contending in D6 AA this year

I think their QB Collin Smith just picked up a WVU offer the other night
