Re: NCAA Brackets & Schedule
Here are my uneducated guesses, with Bonus points. I don't see PSU losing any way I look at it but it will probably be closer than I have it right now. I picked PSU to have 2 National Champs.
1. PSU 121
2. OK ST 85
3. IOWA 82
4. Cornell 77.5
5. OH ST 76.5
Missouri 76.5
7. NC ST 66.5
8. VT 64.5
Champs
125 Tomasello
133 Garrett
141 McKenna
149 Retherford
157 Martinez
165 Dieringer
174 Nickal
184 Dean
197 Cox
285 Gwiazdowski

Re: NCAA Brackets & Schedule
Trackwrestling is good for live updates and mat assignments. As of right now they are showing 2 upcoming matches after the one being wrestled so you can go back and forth from track and espn 3 so you don't miss any of your favorite wrestlers or you can just wait till the match you want to watch comes up on track and then click the video camera and it will take you to espn 3. Track also has brackets but you get timed-out of them pretty frequently when you aren't changing or refreshing your page. Flow also has brackets but I don't think they will be updated as quickly as track.

Re: NCAA Brackets & Schedule
Me too but Mac has to get past either Hartmann or Burak first and I like his chances better if its Burak. Hartmann has been a thorn in Mac's side.crfball wrote:Really excited for the Mac vs. Cox matchup
A lot of upsets and other surprises. Realbuto at 174 the #2 seed is the biggest he went 0-2 after being a finalist last year at 157. Klimara at 125 returning AA is done, 0-2. Dance at 125 lost his top half round of 16 match. Jack at 141 dropped to wrestlebacks, Tsirtsis lost but not a big surprise, he has had a tough year on and off the mat. Gantt at 157 dropped down and you can add most of the 174 higher seeds as dropping, avery at 184, Brown, and unfortunately McCutcheon went 0-2. He hasn't been the same since the knee injury. After the first day PSU has to be a major favorite. OH ST will probably finish higher than I originally thought if their top 4 guys can continue to get bonus points.
Re: NCAA Brackets & Schedule
What a showing by PSU through 2 days. Awesome!
It ain't over until it's over.
Re: NCAA Brackets & Schedule
No sign of it slowing down for a couple of years either
Re: NCAA Brackets & Schedule
Congrats to Megaludis & Retherford for taking 1st, to Sanderson for another team title, and all the other team members for a great season. Is it too soon to talk about next years' recruits? Guys like Hall, Soriano, etc.
It ain't over until it's over.
