PSAC Teams in the D2 Baseball Rankings

In the latest Division II Baseball rankings, PSAC East squad Millersville is ranked #1 in the nation while East Stroudsburg is also in the top 10 at #9. Meanwhile, Mercyhurst is at #24 and Seton Hill is the highest ranked local squad at #27. These four teams are also in the top 30 in the majority of offensive and defensive categories.

Statistically, local teams Shippensburg, Slippery Rock, IUP, Clarion, and UPJ all remain among the worst ranked teams in the country. Pitching seems to be the nemesis once again as local squads have some of the worst ERAs in the nation. Slippery Rock is 219th (7.34), IUP is 221st (7.43), Clarion is 229th (7.95) and UPJ is 248th (9.73) out of 254 teams.

UPJ just took 2 from Clarion, so guess they aren't the worst anymore. That's something. 15-22 after a horrendous start.

10-7 at home, but 5-15 when not playing with the short left field screen. Talk about a home field advantage. LOL
