Mountain League Week 3
Huntingdon (1-1) @ Tyrone (1-1)...Both teams coming into this matchup following tough week 2 losses. Tyrone's a 31-7 loss to Central and Huntingdon's a heartbreaking 21-20 loss to Bellefonte. Look for Tyrone to hit some big plays in the passing game this week and continue their recent dominance in the series in which they've won 14 in a row. Tyrone 35-14
Philipsburg-Osceola (0-2) @ Bellefonte (1-1)...Bellefonte opened up the season with a 6 point loss to Jersey Shore but bounced back last week with a minor 1 point upset on the road at Huntingdon. PO on the other hand has opened up with 2 losses and is giving up 55 ppg. Look for the skid to continue for PO. Bellefonte 42-13
Penns Valley (0-2) @ Bald Eagle Area (2-0)...If you look at the records you see one thing but then look at the opponents and see another. While 2-0 and having outscored their opponents 109-0 the Eagles have done so against the likes of St. Joseph's & PO. On the other hand while 0-2 the Rams of Penns Valley have a 3 point OT loss to Marian Catholic (ranked #1 in 1A by easternpafootball.com & #5 last week by pafootballnews) and a 21-7 loss to 4A Clearfield. This game should tell a lot about these 2 teams going forward. Penns Valley 28-21
Game of the Week
Central (2-0) @ Clearfield (1-1)...Clearfield bounced back from a 30-20 week 1 loss at DuBois to beat Penns Valley 21-7. Central took care of their 2nd tough opponent in a rough opening 3 game stretch that included Hollidaysburg, Tyrone & Clearfield. The Dragons defense has been a key part of their 2-0 start. The starting defensive unit has not allowed a score through 2 weeks and came 2:32 from handing Tyrone their first shutout in 22 years. The task for the Dragon defense will be shutting down a Bison offense led by the explosive playmaking of RB Seth Caldwell and WR Ryan Lezzer. Should be a good one but look for the Dragons to get revenge for their lone regular season loss in 2015. Central 28-14

Is Marian Catholic ranked one overall or just in that area of the state for what they cover?

Ur welcome. Forest Hills also blanked us in the d6 title game in 2010 and United in 98. So I don't know where they got 22 years from.
